Vibets Bottles and Cups
If your bottle or cup is leaving a metallic trace in your drink, follow the steps below:
Wash your bottle or cup with hot water and mild soap, then rinse.
1- Fill it with clean water and vinegar (50% of each). For example, if the bottle is 650 ml, mix 325 ml of water and 325 ml of vinegar.
2- Leave the bottle with the mixture overnight.
3- The next day, remove the mixture and rinse the bottle well. The metallic taste will disappear.
4- If such taste persists, repeat the steps 1-3 above.
Of course, you can put your drink directly into your Vibets bottle or cup, but to get the best possible thermal performance, follow these simple steps:
1- Preheat or pre – cool your bottle or cup, filling it with hot or cold water.
2- Let it rest for a minute.
3- Empty your Vibets and fill immediately with your favorite hot or cold beverage.
4- Close it with the fitted lid to prevent temperature loss.
Now just drink up!
We do not recommend using a washing machine for Vibets products as they reach high working temperatures that can damage the external finish or internal vacuum layer of the product.
To clean your Vibets, follow these steps:
1) Fill it with warm or hot water and neutral detergent (1 tablespoon of detergent is enough for any Vibets product up to 1.15 liters)
2) Let the solution sit for 3 to 5 minutes.
3) Wash it with a soft cloth or sponge.
4) Rinse and dry with a clean dish towel or towel.
A deep cleaning of your Vibets bottle or cup is recommended every 2 to 3 months. To do this, make a mixture of baking soda, vinegar and hot water (for every 500 ml of water, use 1 full tablespoon of baking soda and 50 ml of vinegar). Leave to soak for two hours. After this period, dump the mixture and wash it with running water and neutral detergent.
To clean the sealing ring of the Vibets bottle or cup, soak it in white vinegar or a mixture of warm water and baking soda (for every 500ml of water, use 50 grams of baking soda). Do not use chlorine or any other chemical product to avoid drying the ring, making the seal ineffective or null.
Vibets bottles and cups are made from “food grade” stainless steel and will last a lifetime. Yet, they may show signs of oxidation over time.
If you notice any oxidation on the inside of your Vibets, don’t worry as this is not harmful and can be removed. This happens with water dirt (free iron particles) or some other residue.
To remove these particles, use a non-abrasive household cleaner. ( ex : Stainless Steel Cleaner)
The cleaner can be applied with a soft-bristled brush, soft sponges or soft cloths.
If not completely removed, soak the product in a mixture of hot water, baking soda and white vinegar. (For every 500ml of water, use 1 full tablespoon of baking soda and 50ml of vinegar). Repeat if necessary until the stain disappears.
IMPORTANT: With daily use, small points of oxidation may appear on the inside of your Vibets bottle or cup, as in certain regions water has a high concentration of mineral and sodium.
All Vibets bottles and cups are made from “Food Grade” stainless steel, which ensures maximum quality for this type of product.
All plastic material used is approved by the FDA USA, being the same free of BPA ( Bisphenol A), a chemical component harmful to health.
The external painting is done by electrostatic powder process, which guarantees an excellent finish and provides greater durability to the product.
To test the thermal efficiency of the Vibets bottle it is necessary that it is tested with its maximum liquid capacity. If not done as such, the empty part is filled with air and this promotes temperature change, affecting the bottle’s performance.
IMPORTANT: The information on hot or cold temperature performance indicated on our bottles and advertisements considers the use of the product at its maximum capacity.
Testing:
To test your Vibets bottle, follow these steps:
- Fill the Vibets bottle to its limit with hot water (approx. 99°), cover it and wait for 6 hours.
- Open the bottle and put some of this water in a glass and check (it can be through a thermometer) if the temperature is suitable for your consumption.
- The period of 6 hours is sufficient to demonstrate the thermal efficiency of the Vibets bottle.
IMPORTANT : Test with boiling water before using with other liquids. Example : Coffee or Tea. Coffee inevitably leaves a smell on the plastic parts of the bottle.
Considerations:
For a drink to be hot, its temperature must be above 59°.
For cold drinks, the temperature must be below 10°.
Never put your Vibets bottle or tumble in the freezer. This procedure does not improve the thermal performance of the product at all, and on the contrary, it may damage it.
Liquids expand when frozen. This expansion can result in damage to your product’s vacuum layer and/or seals, affecting its thermal function.

All Vibets bottles maintain the temperature of your drink for hours, however the odor of strong drinks such as coffee can permeate the plastic parts, leaving the odor of the drink in the bottle, which may not be pleasant when it is used with other bottles. drinks ( eg water). For this reason, we do not recommend using the Hydro series bottles with coffee.
